Jessica Weeks is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Providers.

Jessica has obtained a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. In addition to education, Jessica has valuable experience working not only in direct therapy, but also within group treatment settings for youth struggling with mental health and behaviour concerns as well as adults struggling with substance use addictions.

Jessica providers psychotherapy services to individuals who encounter a range of life's difficulties, fostering change through examining thoughts and beliefs, creating new understandings, and learning to listen more to one’s nervous system.

Therapeutic modalities used include an eclectic mix of interventions from: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Somatic/Body Based Therapies, with a strong focus on Mindfulness practices and the nervous system.

Jessica takes a highly collaborative and client-centred approach to therapy - therapist and client are a team, working together to achieve a desired outcome. A safe and comfortable process is a priority, however Jessica also encourages having fun and enjoyment along the way, with no pressure or expectation. The primary focus is you, and the therapeutic process will be tailored to your needs.

Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating or scary, but it is truly something to be proud of: you are putting yourself first, and carving out space to focus on your experience and needs. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
