Psychotherapy is the process of working with a trained professional in order to work through emotional or mental health challenges, grow your understanding of self, and fostering connection. It is a safe space to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours, and feel supported in your experience. Therapy with Jessica can be effective for a number of issues, including trauma, anxiety and depression, addiction, self-esteem and relationship concerns, as well as daily life stressors, among other concerns.

Through different methods and techniques, therapy can help you understand yourself better, cope with tough situations, and develop healthier ways to handle life’s challenges. Whether you're facing big struggles or just need someone to talk to, therapy is about helping you feel better and live a more balanced life.

Beyond therapeutic modalities, the therapeutic alliance can account for a significant amount of effectiveness in therapy - that is, the relationship between yourself and your therapist. Building a strong, safe, and comfortable relationship between therapist and client is a priority. It is our priority to ensure trust and collaboration exists above all else in the relationship.

Wander and Wellness - walk and talk therapy program (Spring/Summer 2026)

Nature holds healing power! As someone who loves to be active and outdoors, providing a service wherein people can get moving, connect with nature, and connect with themselves is something I am extremely passionate about. The Wander and Wellness Program allows us to take the Psychotherapy experience out of the office and onto the trails.

Ecotherapy involves spending time in nature as a way to improve mental health. The idea is that connecting with the natural environment can help reduce stress, boost mood, and enhance overall well-being. Research suggests that Ecotherapy can have several positive effects on mental health, including reduced anxiety, improved mood, focus, and clarity, and enhanced emotion regulation.

Engaging in psychotherapy while in nature provides the unique benefit of being able to practice mindfulness and grounding techniques to support being more present, relaxing the nervous system, and building awareness of our own body and experience. While walking pre-determined trails in the Belleville area, we will continued to engage in traditional talk therapy, using similar techniques and modalities that would be utilized in an in-office setting.

Prior to engaging in Ecotherapy, you will complete an in-office intake and assessment session, to confirm whether Ecotherapy is suitable for your mental health needs, and ensure you are physically safe to participate. Please note that Ecotherapy is weather dependent - together we will create a plan of action for times where Ecotherapy sessions are not accessible.

If this sounds like something you may benefit from, reach out for more information! I can’t wait to get moving with you.

Supervision can look different for everyone, depending on your needs. Supervision may include:

  • Educational focus on interventions and therapeutic modalities

  • Case conceptualization and treatment planning, case review

  • Self-reflective practices to promote growth and self-awareness

  • Review of ethical obligations and practice standards

  • Skill and competency assessment and development

  • Mentorship in the field (clinically and business-focused)

  • Clinical consultation regarding specific case concerns

  • Debriefing and processing

Individual supervision sessions are billed at $175 per 1 hour session.

Dyadic supervision sessions are billed at $100 per person. Dyadic supervision engages a collaborative model that invites two supervisees and a clinical supervisor into a shared learning space to promote growth, professional development, and a self-reflective practice. It is best that you arrange for a partner to create the dyad, however we may be able to support you in finding a partner if needed.

It is important to recognize that Clinical Supervision is not Individual Therapy - the role of the supervisory relationship is to address experiences specific to providing effective psychotherapy and promoting professional development.

Clinical Supervision and Consultation (individual and dyadic)

At the heart of effective supervision is the professional supervisory relationship.

Jessica provides clinical supervision and consultation for Registered Psychotherapists seeking a reflective, collaborative space to deepen their clinical work and enhance their identity as a clinician. Many therapists (new and experienced) have felt a sense of imposter syndrome in this field - Jessica holds a special interest in confidence-building and affirming your authentic self. Supervision focuses on case consultation, ethical decision-making, clinical skill development, and therapist self-awareness. The supervisory relationship can also serve as a vessel to increasing self-reflection of one’s experiences and responses as a therapist, supporting personal development alongside professional development.

Supervision is available for both developing and experienced therapists who value ongoing professional growth, supportive dialogue, and high-quality client care.

Jessica meets the CRPO Clinical Supervisor Requirements and has completed a 30-hour self-directed Supervision Course in order to provide effective clinical support.

Jessica’s supervision approach is relational and integrative, encouraging self-reflection for clinician growth while prioritizing evidence-based practice. Supervision sessions will encourage thoughtful exploration of the therapeutic process, helping clinicians strengthen conceptualization, navigate challenges in their cases, and maintain safe and effective use of self. In supervision, there is the recognition that change comes from within, thus promoting curiosity and self-compassion. Authenticity is at the core of Jessica’s practice - all supervisees are encouraged to bring their whole self into the supervisory relationship to create a connection supportive of growth.

Please refer to Jessica’s bio to confirm that areas of focus and therapeutic modalities align with your preferred therapeutic orientation.

How do I know if therapy is working?
